ERBIL () - A delegation from the Kurdistan Foundation held a series of high-level meetings with youth officials from the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Libya during its participation in the international Brain Bar 2026 festival in Budapest, focusing on expanding opportunities and developing new capabilities for young people in the Kurdistan Region.
On Friday, the Kurdistan Foundation delegation held several meetings on the sidelines of Brain Bar 2026 in the Hungarian capital, engaging with senior officials responsible for shaping youth policies and future opportunities across the region.
Among the delegation’s key meetings were separate discussions with Rawaan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Bahrain’s Minister of Youth Affairs; Sultan Al Neyadi, UAE Minister of State for Youth Affairs; and Engineer Haitham Al-Zahhaf, Libya’s Minister of Youth.
The meetings focused on areas of potential joint cooperation and provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives and advanced experiences on developing youth capabilities, promoting innovation and leadership, and creating meaningful opportunities for future generations.
The Kurdistan Foundation delegation emphasized the importance of the meetings in strengthening ties between the Kurdistan Region and the broader international community.
It said the engagements could help open pathways for young people in the Kurdistan Region to benefit from leading initiatives in contemporary leadership and innovation.
The Kurdistan Foundation’s participation in Brain Bar 2026 provided a platform for dialogue with regional youth leaders and for exploring cooperation aimed at expanding leadership, innovation and future opportunities for young people in the Kurdistan Region.
