ERBIL () — Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Thursday received Muhsin Mandalawi, head of Iraq’s Al-Asas Alliance, and a delegation of members of the Iraqi Council of Representatives in Duhok, according to a statement from the Kurdistan Region Prime Minister’s Media Office.
The meeting focused on the general political situation in Iraq and the importance of strengthening cooperation and coordination among Iraq’s political parties and factions and the Kurdistan Region.
The meeting also stressed the need to resolve outstanding issues between Erbil and Baghdad in accordance with the Iraqi Constitution.
Mandalawi was also among the guests who attended the graduation ceremony of the American University of Kurdistan (AUK) in Duhok, where he delivered a speech.
