Iran expels Swedish diplomat in ‘reciprocal action’

The Iranian foreign ministry on Thursday declared a diplomat in the Swedish Embassy in Tehran a persona non grata with orders to leave within 48 hours, a day after the Swedish government expelled an Iranian diplomat as a “countermeasure” against Iran’s activities in Stockholm.
