Kurdistan Region requests welfare, disability benefit allocations in 2027 Iraqi budget

The Kurdistan Regional Government requested Baghdad to include welfare and disability benefit allocations for more than 100,000 families living below the poverty line and 30,000 persons with disabilities in Iraq’s 2027 federal budget, the Kurdish labor minister said Thursday.
