ERBIL () - Saudi warplanes carried out 300 airstrikes across nine provinces in Yemen over the past week, according to figures released Friday by Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree, who also reported intensified strikes on Taiz province during the previous 24 hours.

Saree said in a message published on his official account on X that Saudi warplanes had carried out 26 airstrikes in Yemen over the preceding 24 hours.

He said the strikes were conducted by advanced F-15 fighter jets that took off from the Khamis Mushait airbase in southern Saudi Arabia, targeting various areas of Taiz province.

Saree also released figures for Saudi Arabia’s airstrikes during the week, saying their total had reached 300.

According to the Houthi military spokesperson, the attacks were carried out using F-15 fighter jets and Typhoon aircraft operating from the Khamis Mushait and Taif airbases.

He said the aircraft targeted positions across nine Yemeni provinces: Taiz, Hajjah, Marib, Al Jawf, Bayhan, Amran, Lahj, Hudaydah, and Saada.

The claims were made by the Houthi military spokesperson in his statement on Friday, Sept. 18, 2026.
